As the organizing team, it is an honour for us to welcome you to the very 1st International Congress on “People, Power & Politics”. As a multi-disciplinary academic event, main themes of the congress are determined as “Soft Power, Foreign Policy, Globalization, Global Economy, Political Sociology and Public Economics”. Also, International Relations, Political Science, Economics, Business Management, Sociology, Human Rights, Diaspora and Migration Studies, Literature, Philosophy, Communication, Law, Social Policy and other sub-fields of Social Sciences are also welcomed. The aim of this gathering is to make a contribution to the society and academia, in the light of the themes covered by the congress. Researchers and specialists are welcome to contribute in the aforementioned fields of Social Sciences. Abstracts outside the main subjects will also undergo an evaluation, and will be included in the congress upon the approval of the Organizing Committee. Papers will be accepted only in English, Turkish, Ukrainian and Russian languages. Papers not presented in the congress will not be published.
All the accepted abstracts will be published in the “Abstract Book” and a printed version will be given to the attendees at the congress. The abstract book will also be released online right before the congress.
For authors who do not want their full papers to be published as a book chapter or article, are opted to publish their papers in the Proceedings.
National Edited Book (In Turkish)
After a double-blind peer review process, sufficient number of accepted papers will be published in another edited book by a local publisher in Turkey.
International Edited Book
After the evaluation process via double-blind peer-review, selected full papers will be published in a couple of multi-disciplinary international edited books.
The PEAJ Special Issue
Contributors may submit their papers to the PEAJ journal’s special issue which will be on “People & Power & Politics”. In relation to publication in the journal, the final decision is to be made by journal editorial board.
